The 580 CommUnity

There are many ways to nourish your head, heart, and spirit at 580 Café. Lively discussions both informally around coffee and food, or more focused on small group and justice activities- there's always something to talk about, and someone to listen or listen to.

Collective Care

580 Café offers both in-person and online spaces for students to engage in healing justice and collective care. Our activities reflect a wide range of interests and options, led by students to create a holistic and authentic space to share, grow and learn together. We care for mind-body-soul as beloved community.

Healing Justice
Weekly sessions of music, movement, art, and dialogue focus on caring for our community while caring for ourselves. Sessions focus on physical, mental, spiritual well being. Created by and centering QTBIPOC, Undocumented, First Gen, Transfer & Formerly Incarcerated students.

THRIVE Professional Mentorship Program
THRIVE  is an initiative of 580 students and 580 graduates to connect current 580 Café students with a mentor in their intended career or industry. The focus of THRIVE is to provide meaningful opportunities for career planning, personal/leadership development, networking, navigating the workplace as a person of color, and application/interview.
